This piece is a reflection of Shosh’s changing relationship with pain, the desert, and kink. In this piece they are embracing the euphoric state of being completely surrendered to their pain, the rope, and the desert. Around them, the intense cycles of life and death in the Sonoran desert are portrayed. Juicy saguaro fruits, turkey vultures circling, monsoon rains forming an overflowing waterfall, a sun-bleached saguaro skeleton, a vermillion flycatcher, and full, reaching creosote and ocotillo.
